Florida City, FL - Police are searching for a man suspected of arson after surveillance footage captured him urinating on and setting fire to a South Florida car wash earlier this month.
The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. on March 2nd at the Luv Car Wash located at 33513 S. Dixie Highway in Florida City.
Investigators believe the man exited a Marathon Bus and then entered the closed car wash.
Police released a security video showing the suspect igniting a fire inside one of the car wash tunnels, resulting in significant fire and smoke damage.
Authorities estimate the damages to be roughly $60,000.
The footage also captured the suspect urinating on the floor before starting the fire.
He then fled the scene on foot.
Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the suspect's arrest.
