Daytona Beach, FL - A Florida man is facing charges after police say he threatened and injured two teens with a sword who knocked on his door looking for a friend.
The incident occurred at an apartment complex on North Clyde Morris Boulevard over the weekend, when a frantic mother called 911 reporting that a man had stabbed a minor.
According to police, 70-year-old Robert Robb allegedly confronted two teenagers, a 14-year-old and a 17-year-old, with a sword after they knocked on his door looking for a friend.
The teens claim they were backing away from Robb's apartment when one of the teens grabbed the blade to defend themselves from being stabbed in the chest.
The teen sustained a cut finger during the struggle.
Investigators believe Robb may have been upset by the teens knocking on his apartment door.
Daytona Beach Police apprehended Robb, who is currently being held at the Volusia County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
He faces charges related to aggravated assault with a weapon.
