TAMPA -- The husband of a Tampa City Council member is facing 14 charges in a federal indictment related to the leak of video from former Fox News personality Tucker Carlson.
Federal prosecutors charged 45-year-old Tim Burke in what they describe as a conspiracy to steal information from protected computer systems, including those used by Fox.
According to various reports, the leaked video included clips from an interview between Carlson and Kanye West, and other videos published by the group Media Matters for America, after Fox News dismissed Carlson last year.
Federal law enforcement raided the home shared by Burke and his wife, council member Lynn Hurtak, last May, seizing computer equipment.
