Cape Coral, FL - Police arrested two teenagers for throwing a party in an empty Southwest Florida home and stealing the homeowner's car.
The incident occurred on Saturday when Morgan Quarnaccio, the homeowner, received a call from a neighbor about a party at her house.
Upon investigation, Quarnaccio discovered that 17-year-old Xavier Scott and 16-year-old Bailey Rogers, who'd been entrusted with dog-sitting duties, threw a party at the residence.
Police responded to the scene and located the abandoned stolen car near the house.
Utilizing their aviation unit, they apprehended Scott hiding nearby. Rogers was later arrested.
As a result of the party, Quarnaccio's daughter reported the loss of several belongings, including shoes and clothing, totaling thousands of dollars.
Additionally, the house was left in a state of disarray, with evidence of drug use found by police.
Scott has been released on bond, while Rogers remains in juvenile detention.
The stolen items are still missing.
