Clearwater, FL - A 33-year-old Florida man was arrested for alleged theft after refusing to pay $250 for a Waffle House logo tattoo.

Police say the suspect, identified as Max Alexander Krejckant of Clearwater, was arrested on Saturday for refusing to pay for a $250 tattoo he received at the Ink Godz tattoo shop in St. Petersburg.

Krejckant, allegedly under the influence during the tattoo session, opted to get the Waffle House logo tattooed on his right calf.

A dispute arose when the tattoo, approximately five inches wide, was designed in gray and black instead of the restaurant's signature yellow and black.

Ink Godz owner Neil Marcus reportedly told police that Krejckant declined to pay an additional $100 for the yellow ink.

When it came time to settle the bill, Krejckant reportedly "refused all options to satisfy his debts," according to the arrest report.

Police responding to the tattoo shop conducted a search of Krejckant which yielded only $6 and a driver's license in his bag.

Charged with theft, Krejckant, posted a $150 bond and was released from jail on the same day.

He has pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor count.
