Residents in six Broward County cities are being asked to reduce their water use for the time being.
Hollywood officials say a 48-inch pipe has failed and has sent waste in and around the Southern Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant, the Eco Golf Course and West Lake.
The plant serves residents in Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, Dania Beach, Hallandale Beach, Miramar, Pembroke Parks and southern Broward.
Repairs are underway.
