Miami Woman Arrested for Drugging and Robbing Men

Miami-Dade, FL - Police in South Florida have arrested a 34-year-old woman after she allegedly drugged and stole from two men in two separate robberies.

On Thursday, Danyelle Eans, a resident of west Miami-Dade, was arrested and charged with two counts of grand theft.

Investigators say that on May 21st, 2022, a man contacted police after inviting Eans back to his Coconut Grove residence, where they shared drinks.

When the victim awoke later that day, he realized valuables totaling $41,280 were missing.

Surveillance footage captured Eans leaving the premises with two bags containing the victim's belongings.

Fingerprint analysis conducted on a glass and various bottles at the scene matched Eans, and the victim positively identified her from a photo lineup.

In a second incident, on July 15th, 2023, a man told police he met Eans at the MAD Club Wynwood before accompanying her to his downtown apartment.

After consuming alcohol and entering the bedroom, the man fell asleep, only to wake up later and discover Eans near his closet.

Eans reportedly offered to order breakfast before leaving, stealing three Rolex watches valued at approximately $47,000.

Fingerprint evidence on the victim's closet door, a remote control, several cans of La Croix seltzer water, and an Aquafina bottle connected Eans to the crime.

The second victim's identification of Eans in a photo lineup further linked her to the crime.

Law enforcement located and apprehended Eans at her apartment on Northwest Seventh Street.

She's currently being detained at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on an out-of-state warrant with a $15,000 bond.
