Flagler County, FL - A Florida man was arrested after allegedly shoplifting "personal care" items from a Target store, including a stolen sex toy, which was caught on body camera footage, with the suspect facing multiple charges.
A Florida man was apprehended by authorities after allegedly shoplifting "personal care" items from a local Target store, with the embarrassing incident captured on body camera footage, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.
The suspect, identified as David Romero, was confronted by deputies in the parking lot, where he was instructed to step out of his vehicle.
During the arrest, a vibrating device fell out of Romero's pants, which was later revealed to be a stolen sex toy from Target.
Surveillance footage showed Romero stuffing various personal care items inside shapewear.
Additionally, stolen merchandise including condoms, lubricant, and climax control spray were discovered in his car.
Romero claimed that he intended to use the sex aids on his wife since he couldn't spend Father's Day with her.
In addition to the theft charges, Romero is also facing a felony warrant for grand theft in Putnam County.
He was taken into custody and is being held at the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility on a $3,000 bond.
Flagler Sheriff Rick Staly emphasized the commitment to apprehending criminals and fugitives, stating that anyone engaged in criminal activities in Flagler County would be found and arrested.
