Stripper Accused of Stealing $62,000 from Patron at Strip Club

Miami, FL - A stripper has been arrested for orchestrating an elaborate scheme to defraud a customer out of more than $62,000 through unauthorized credit card transactions at a South Florida strip club.

According to authorities, Yannelin Rivera-Bosaw, a 34-year-old stripper, has been arrested on charges of committing an organized scheme to defraud, fraudulent use of a credit card, grand theft, and selling narcotics without a prescription.

The incident occurred when a male customer visited Playmates Club in Miami on Friday.

The customer specifically requested Rivera-Bosaw's services, along with five other unidentified women to entertain him during his time at the club.

Police say Rivera-Bosaw initially danced privately for the patron, and the other women later joined in.

During the encounter, the victim was continually supplied with tequila shots by Rivera-Bosaw, which rendered him intoxicated.

The customer eventually lost his ability to stand or leave the premises, enabling the alleged theft to take place.

As the victim remained in a VIP seat, Rivera-Bosaw seized the opportunity to take his wallet and cellphone.

The arrest report indicates that Rivera-Bosaw and the other women distracted the customer by physically engaging with him while Rivera-Bosaw surreptitiously went through his belongings.

When the victim eventually decided to leave the club around 4 a.m., he realized that his credit cards were missing from his wallet.

The following day, the victim discovered unauthorized transactions amounting to $62,345.91. It was revealed that his missing credit cards had been used through various phone applications to transfer money to Playmates Bar and Grill and Triple Vision, which is the LLC name for the strip club, making it appear as if the victim himself had authorized the payments.

Detectives investigating the case discovered six PayPal transactions from the victim's cellphone, which were transferred to Rivera-Bosaw's bank account without his consent.

The victim also reported unauthorized charges to his Chase, American Express, and Wells Fargo accounts, all linked to Playmates Bar and Grill.

During questioning, Rivera-Bosaw initially claimed that the victim allowed her to send money to herself. However, her story became inconsistent when she mentioned the involvement of five other women without providing their names.

Authorities obtained written consent to search Rivera-Bosaw's phone, where they found a text message conversation that contained pictures of the PayPal transactions and Rivera-Bosaw's grievances about one of the accounts being canceled by the victim.

During their investigation, law enforcement officials discovered information related to human growth hormones and anabolic steroids on Rivera-Bosaw's cellphone.

This discovery came to light through an incoming text message requesting her to bring the product to Playmates Club for purchase.

Rivera-Bosaw was arrested and transported to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, where she is being held pending further legal proceedings.
