Florida's Senate Democratic Leader is at White House State Legislative Convening on Abortion Access. Lauren Book, who's speaking during the closing session, says Florida's six-week ban is unacceptable and dangerous. The ban makes exceptions to save a mother's life and for rape and incest victims, but the burden of proof is on the victim. Book was one of eleven people arrested outside Tallahassee City Hall in April for protesting the ban. Trespassing charges were dropped earlier this month.
