"Island Boy" Arrested for Domestic Violence

Pompano Beach, FL - One-half of the social media rap duo "Island Boys" was arrested in South Florida for allegedly slapping his girlfriend and pushing her into a pool.

Frank Venegas, a member of the "Island Boys," was arrested on Saturday in Pompano Beach for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.

According to his arrest report, Venegas, 21, slapped his girlfriend on the right side of her face using an open hand, then pushed her into a shallow part of a pool where she hit her chin.

The deputy who arrived at the scene reported seeing marks and bruises on the victim's chin during his investigation.

Venegas has been charged with domestic battery and was transported to Broward County main jail.

Saturday's incident is the latest in a series of controversies surrounding the "Island Boys", who gained viral fame on TikTok for their distinctive hairstyle and rap music.

The group, consisting of Venegas and his brother, has faced legal troubles in the past.

In 2019, the duo was arrested in Miami Beach for allegedly trespassing on a private beach.
