Fort Myers, FL - A male massage therapist has been found guilty of sexual battery after inappropriately touching a client during a session at a Southwest Florida massage parlor.
Jeffrey Scott Kaplan, a male massage therapist, was found guilty of sexual battery after he inappropriately touched a client during a session in Fort Myers.
The incident occurred in April of 2022 when Kaplan was working at a massage therapy business.
According to the United States Attorney's Office, Kaplan's actions were reported by the victim, who immediately demanded that he stop before fleeing the premises.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office conducted an investigation, leading to Kaplan's arrest on charges of sexual battery.
Following a two-day trial in Lee County, a jury found Kaplan guilty of sexual battery.
Kaplan's sentencing is scheduled for June 5th.
