Jury Renders Verdict in Murder For Hire Trial in Miami-Dade

Following one day of deliberations, the jury has rendered a verdict in the trial of Manuel Marin - he's a former partner of Presidente Supermarket -- now convicted in a murder-for-hire plot to kill the man who was having an affair with his wife.

Camilo Salazar was beaten and burned -- his body left in the Everglades.

Marin was charged with second degree murder but found guilty of the lesser offense - manslaughter. He was also found guilty of criminal conspiracy to commit kidnapping, criminal conspiracy to commit aggravated battery, and kidnapping.

The three men allegedly hired by Marin -- Roberto Isaac, Alexis Vila Perdomo, and Ariel Gandulla have been tried -- and sentenced for their roles in the murder.
