Key Largo, FL - A worker died in a construction accident in Key Largo after a crane on a barge tipped over, sending him plunging into the water.
According to Monroe County Sheriff Rick Ramsay, the 29-year-old construction worker, identified as Jose Eduardo Reyes Ponce, lost his life after a crane on a barge tipped over and fell into the water in Key Largo on Tuesday afternoon.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office, officers from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and Key Largo firefighters were present at the scene, with divers from the sheriff's office tasked with recovering Reyes Ponce's body from the water.
