PARRISH -- Deputies forced students at Parrish Community High School in Manatee County to clear out of classes for a time Tuesday following a bomb threat. It's the fourth at the school since last week.
Manatee Sheriff Rick Wells says the threats are coming through Fortify Florida, an app set up to report suspicious activity at schools anonymously. So far, they've tracked an IP address in California and a VPN from a host site in Romania.
School Superintendent Cynthia Saunders says that even though the threats aren't credible, the district has to take each one seriously.
Wells says the consequences include felony charges for those caught, regardless of age.
