Broward County, FL - Police have arrested a man who allegedly killed his co-worker with a sledgehammer at their South Florida workplace.
According to police, 31-year-old Bryan Menocal was arrested on a charge of second-degree murder and taken to the Broward Main Jail.
The incident happened on Wednesday morning at Wärtsilä, a marine and energy manufacturing company in Broward County.
Police received a call around 7 a.m. and found the victim dead at the scene.
Employees at Wärtsilä told police that Menocal admitted to killing his co-worker and was seen with a sledgehammer after their morning meeting.
Menocal fled the scene before officers arrived, but was later found and taken into custody.
Officials have not released the identity of the victim.
