Orlando, FL - An Apopoka police officer has been placed on leave after being arrested on a DUI charge in Orlando.
Officer Sara Muni was placed on leave without pay pending an administrative review by the Apopka police department after she was charged with driving under the influence on Tuesday.
According to a news release, Muni faces “additional charges related to the incident,” but officials have not elaborated on what those charges may be.
No information has been provided about what led up to Muni's arrest.
The release notes that Muni was off-duty at the time of her arrest.
Muni has been with Apopka police for just over two years and is assigned to the uniform patrol division.
