Sarasota, FL - A person was seen jet skiing off the coast of Southwest Florida just hours before Hurricane Ian made landfall on Wednesday.
Reporters from WFLA News Channel 8 captured video of the person in choppy waters off the John Ringling Causeway in Sarasota, as Hurricane Ian moved towards the coast as a Category 4 storm.
Hurricane Ian made landfall around 3 p.m. Wednesday in Cayo Casto with maximum sustained winds of 150 mph, bringing catastrophic storm surges and flooding to parts of Southwest Florida.
