Hollywood, FL - A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Brightline train in South Florida on Monday.
Police and fire rescue screws responded to Taylor Street and the Florida East Coast Railway tracks near Dixie Highway in Hollywood after the pedestrian was hit and killed by the train on Monday afternoon.
Investigators say the pedestrian darted in front of the oncoming train as it was headed northbound.
WSVN's 7SkyForce filmed a white tarp that covered the pedestrian's body as it laid on the tracks following Monday's incident.
Monday's incident is still under investigation.
