Several days before the season opener for Dolphins and Patriots, the visiting team has already Touched Down in South Florida.

The Patriots team plane landed at Palm Beach International Airport just before 6 p.m. Tuesday and the players boarded several buses.

The team is holding practices this week at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, ahead of Sunday's game against the Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

Visiting teams typically show up a couple of days before the game.

Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel says he doesn't think the extra time in South Florida will be a reason New England wins or loses, but offers this advice to the players from up north.

"If you don't put sunscreen on you will get bronzed. So, factually, they better SPF up."

Sunday's game kicks off at 1 p.m.
