All of Palm Beach County's beaches are safe for swimming.

That's the word from the Florida Department of Health as we head toward the Labor Day weekend. Earlier this week, health officials posted health advisories for six area beaches due to high levels of potentially dangerous bacteria.

Those beaches were South Inlet Park in Boca Raton, Sandoway Park in Delray Beach, Ocean Inlet Park in Ocean Ridge, Lantana Beach, Kreusler Park in Lake Worth and the Palm Beach Municipal Beach.

New water samples tested Thursday showed those levels in the "Good" range and the Health Department labeled those beaches as "satisfactory."
