The great Labor Day getaway officially underway. The Triple-A's Mark Jenkins says fifty-three percent of US adults will be traveling for the holiday, with the vast majority taking road trips. Gas prices remain on a downward trend, thanks to drops in gas futures and oil prices along with refineries beginning the switch from summer to winter blends. The average price for a gallon of regular in Florida is now 3-dollars-and-fifty-eight cents, in Miami it's three-sixty-one. If you are flying out of town, be prepared for delays and cancelations. On average, 23% of flights in August were delayed as airlines deal with staffing shortages, pickets and weather disruptions.
