Broward Schools hosting a job fair at Western High School in Davie Friday just a few weeks before the start of the new school year. There are thirteen hundred job openings for several positions including bus drivers, security, custodians, teacher assistants and teachers. Spokeswoman Susan Rockelman says they have 430 vacant teacher spots. Anyone with a bachelor's degree can apply, you do not need to be a certified teacher. Candidates need to bring several copies of their resume. The District does have sign-on bonuses for some positions and 100-percent paid medical insurance for all employees.
