Doral, FL - Police released body cam footage of a June DUI arrest of a South Florida police officer.

On Wednesday, body cam footage was released showing the traffic stop of Miami Dade Police Department officer Donovan Williams Rojas.

Rojas was pulled over after fleeing police during a traffic stop around 4 a.m. on June 12th.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Rojas was driving a Chrysler 300 over 110 mph on U.S. 1.

Investigators say the car was swerving and barely missed other vehicles.

Rojas exited the vehicle and was taken into custody after a brief chase.

Officers said Rojas could barely stand and appeared drunk.

Footage obtained by WSVN shows Rojas crying during his arrest.

He's been charged with running from police and driving under the influence and remains suspended without pay.
