A young boy is hospitalized in serious condition, after he was saved from a house fire in Seffner late last night.
Hillsborough Fire Rescue says a detached garage was fully involved and the flames had spread to the residence when crews arrived.
9-1-1 calls indicated the boy was in the house, and deputies acted quickly, breaking a front window to get inside and get the boy to safety. The fire was brought under control quickly, and the child taken to the hospital along with an adult male.
No other injuries. No word on a cause.
