Man threatens to beat Florida code enforcement worker to death with tablet

DAYTONA BEACH, FL - A man’s been arrested for threatening to beat a city code enforcement worker to death with the tablet he was using to take pictures of the man’s property.

Police arrested 36-year-old Kevin Sbrusch on Wednesday at his Daytona Beach home.

Authorities say a code enforcement worker was taking pictures of Sbrusch’s property because of vehicles parked in his backyard, which is against city code.

The worker’s body camera captured Sbrusch confronting the worker as he took pictures with a tablet from the street.

Sbrusch was filmed telling the man to get off his property, before threatening to beat the worker to death with the tablet.

The worker called the police, who arrested Sbrusch on a charge of corruption by threat against a public servant.
