Florida cheerleading coach arrested, accused of molesting children

A Florida cheerleading coach accused of child molestation was arrested over the weekend.

According to the Clermont Police Department, Vigiland D’Haiti was taken into custody at his home by Winter Garden police on a warrant for his arrest for multiple counts of lewd and lascivious molestation on victims aged 12-15 years old.

D’Haiti is a Pop Warner Nationals judge and a high school choreographer.

Clermont police said they were made aware of the allegations in January, and since, victims have come forward to describe incidents that allegedly took place as far back at 2013.

Three victims have come forward, one who was 14 years old and the other two were 15 years at the time the incidents occurred.

D’Haiti is co-owner and head coach of Rush Allstars, a cheerleading and dance school.

In addition to coaching at Rush Allstars, D’Haiti also coached at several other gyms in the Central Florida area, including high schools.

Clermont police urge any individuals with information about D’Haiti to come forward.
