The man charged in the murder of a 14-year old Palm Beach County boy is expected in court today.

Semmie Lee Williams is being held without bond for the death of Ryan Rogers.

The teen went for a bike ride in Palm Beach Gardens in November and never came home.

Police say "homeless drifter" Williams stabbed Rogers multiple times and he's charged with first degree murder.

Williams has a lengthy criminal history and a history of mental illness.

The judge wants to hear from the sheriff's office about its ability to safely guard the defendant when he leaves jail for those exams.
