Rough Seas Ahead For Cruise Ships Amid COVID Crisis

COVID concerns wreaking havoc for cruises heading into and out of South Florida. Travel expert Peter Greenberg says the most COVID cases reported on a ship during this surge is 48 people on a cruise with over 43-hundred passengers, which is only about 1-and-a-half-percent. The Norwegian Pearl, which left Miami Tuesday is returning today, eight days earlier than planned- because of a COVID crisis. The Norwegian Getaway canceled it's 9-day Caribbean cruise out of Miami Wednesday. Norwegian has a mandatory 100% vaccination policy for our guests and crew. Greenberg says if your cruise does depart, be prepared to be flexible and make adjustments to port cities if need be.
