Brightline has provided more information about its restart after trains were stopped in their tracks in the early days of the pandemic.

According to a news release from the higher-speed rail line, service between West Palm Beach and Miami will return on November 8.

Passengers who create an account and book their first ride through the Brightline app will get that ride for free.

Masks will be required on trains and at stations.

Passengers in Miami will notice a new 26,000 square-foot food court with international offerings.

Brightline is preparing to expand to Orlando by the end of next year. Test trains have been running this month.

Another extension, this time to Tampa, is expected to happen by 2028.
