That was a close call!
A state trooper and a woman were nearly hit by a pickup truck along I-95 near Hypoluxo Road on Thursday at 3:15 p.m.
The trooper stopped in the median to assist a driver who had suffered a blown tire. As he walks over to the woman, his dashboard camera shows a silver pickup plowing into the disabled vehicle. The patrolman jumps out of the way, as does the woman.
The Florida Highway Patrol says a sedan collided with a white pickup truck, causing it to sideswipe the silver truck, which crashed into the broken down vehicle. Neither the trooper nor the woman were injured.
The driver of the sedan kept driving northbound and authorities want to find them.
