The Kravis Center joins other South Florida theaters in requiring negative COVID-19 test results in order to attend performances.

The move came following the same steps for the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami.

Fully vaccinated guests will have the option of voluntarily presenting proof as an alternative to the negative tests.

Kravis Center Board Chairman Jeffrey Stoops says the "health and safety" of their audiences, artists, staff and volunteers is their "primary concern."

The new policy is expected to go into effect on October 1.

In additional, all three theaters are mandating the wearing of masks while inside.
