A GoFundMe page has been set up for a father of four who was arrested just a few minutes into the Palm Beach County School Board meeting last night.

Video shows several school district police officers forcing the 33-year old Everett Cooper out of the room set up for people who didn't want to wear masks.

The man faces charges of disturbing the peace, resisting an officer and trespassing.

School Board Chairman Frank Barbieri directed School District Police to escort others who didn't follow the rules to escort them out of the school board chambers.

"Officers, you can take anybody out of the meeting that's refusing to sit in the seats. Take them out of the building."

After four hours of heated debate, the school board voted to hire outside legal counsel to challenge the state's ban on mask mandates without opt-outs for parents.

No letters have come thus far from the Florida Department of Education, stating that the school district will face punishment for not allowing parents to decide whether their kids wear masks in class. But board members believe that's coming soon.
