The Miami Gardens City Council voting on a new resolution including a 5-million-dollar commitment benefiting residents, businesses and restaurants. It comes after residents filed a Federal Civil Rights lawsuit against Formula One, the Miami Dolphins and Miami-Dade County to block the race because it wreaks havoc on their quality of life. Attorney Sam Dubbin says it's a violation of equal protection law. The new resolution ensures the race will not be held on Northwest 199th Street and requires Hard Rock Stadium to erect noise mitigation barriers.
