(Miami, FL) -- A cyclist is dead after what appears to be a bizarre accident in Miami-Dade County.
Miami Police say Fred Medina was cycling across the South Miami Bridge yesterday morning when the draw bridge began to rise. A friend says the 58-year-old Medina slid down the bridge and fell to his death in between the movable part of the bridge and the fixed part of the roadway.
The friend also tells 7News Medina leaves behind a wife and two children.
