Brooksville,(Florida News Network)-The former Mayor of Brooksville has been arrested and charged with possession and distribution of child pornography. Last September investigators discovered several images and a video depicting child porn had been distributed from a computer address owned by Kevin Hohn.
Hohn is a retired special agent with the Internal Revenue Service - Criminal Investigation, and former Mayor of the City of Brooksville. The 64 year old Hohn was arrested at his home in Brooksville, on Friday. If convicted, he faces a minimum mandatory penalty of 5 years, and up to 20 years, in federal prison.
Hohn was a member of the Brooksville City Council in 2011 and served as Mayor in 2014 before attempting to run for county commissioner in 2020.
