Two People Rescued After Personal Water Craft Hits Boynton Beach Seawall

Boynton Beach, Fl.-Florida News Network)- Police Officers saved the lives of two people who were ejected from a personal water craft after it crashed into a seawall in the Intracoastal Waterway on January 2nd. According to the Boynton Beach Police Department, officers were dispatched to reports of a wave runner that crashed into a seawall on Jan. 2 behind the Sterling Village community. Police say a man and woman were ejected from the water craft and received critical injuries.

Officer Darin Hederian was on patrol in the Intracoastal Waterway on Jan. 2 when he got a call from his dispatcher about a Wave Runner accident nearby. When Hederian arrived, he saw the victims floating face down in the water, telling reporters, "I thought that they were deceased," The man is now recovering well in the hospital and the woman is recovering resting at home.
