Couple Sues HOA Claiming They Were Held Prisoner Inside Their Boca Condo

A South Florida couple is suing their H-O-A, claiming they were held prisoner in their own condo.

Steven and Nancy Iscowitz have filed suit against the Palmetto Place Condominium Association in Boca Raton, alleging "false imprisonment" and "invasion of privacy."

They say their key fobs were deactivated after they acknowledged having COVID-19.

The suit claims the association wanted to force the couple to stay in their condo for two weeks and threatened to call the cops and request they be removed or arrested if they attempted to leave the high-end building.

Units at Palmetto Place sell for upwards of $1 million.
