The Miami Marlins formally introduce their new and first female General Manager today. 51-year-old Kim Ng becomes the highest ranking woman in Major League Baseball today. South Florida sports analyst Rick Horrow says this historic hire is well deserved. Ng spent 7 years in the Chicago White Sox's front office, stints as assistant GM for the New York Yankees and L-A Dodgers--and nearly a decade in the central office of MLB, topping out as senior vice president of operations. She has 3 World Series Rings and says her goal is to bring championship baseball to Miami.
