The presidents of the Broward Teachers Union and United Teachers of Dade banding together to launch a social media campaign about the safe reopening of schools for face-to-face learning. #Safe Schools S-F-L is the hash tag UTD President Karla Hernandez-Mats wants parents, teachers and students to use if they see actual images of overcrowding and other things that could make schools unsafe. She says she wants any questionable practices to be made public in order to hold the superintendents accountable for their actions. The Superintendents in both counties recommend reopening in October, but neither has given specifics on safety measures.
