The search is on for someone who crashed into a Riviera Beach Police cruiser and took off Tuesday night.
It happened at West 15th Street and Avenue F around 6:30 p.m.
An officer was driving south in a marked patrol car through the intersection when another car, heading eastbound, ran a stop sign and struck the back of the cruiser, fleeing the crash scene.
Cops searched the area to no avail.
The officer wasn't injured, but was taken to the hospital to be screened, as is protocol for the department.
