West Palm Beach Mayor Keith James gave his inaugural State of the City Address on Tuesday.
"West Palm Beach is strong and its future, promising."
James, who took office as mayor in April after spending six years on the City Commission, says West Palm Beach is safer and more prosperous than in recent years, but that it needs to spread that good fortune to others.
"Success for some at the expense of others is neither sustainable nor honorable."
He says the city has made progress on several fronts, including crime, traffic and homelessness.
