A "Stop Impeachment" rally is being held on Tuesday outside the office of a South Florida U.S. Representative.

Democrat Ted Deutch, a senior member of the House Judiciary Committee has been one of the vocal leaders on impeachment.

Palm Beach County Republican Party Chair Michael Barnett says the protest is aimed not only at him and the other Democrat lawmakers in the area, Lois Frankel, Alcee Hastings and Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

"We're doing this to send them a message...to send the rest of the Democrats in the House of Representatives who come from districts that President Trump won in 2016 that may be a little more vulnerable, that we the Grassroots are not going to stand for impeachment."

He says the Democrats have yet to prove any proof that President Trump abused his power or obstructed Congress.

The protest is happening at Deutch's Boca Raton office at 7900 Glades Road, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
