Dolphins Release Mark Walton After Arrest For Punching Pregnant Girlfriend

The Miami Dolphins have released running back Mark Walton following his arrest on Tuesday for allegedly punching his pregnant girlfriend in the head.

Police in Davie say the woman, who was five-weeks pregnant at the time, claims the University of Miami graduate pushed her against the wall and punched her several times in the head and face.

The 22-year old was charged with aggravated battery on a pregnant person, which is a felony carrying a 15-year maximum sentence.

Walton has now been arrested four times in less than a year.

He was serving a four-game suspension in relation to arrests during the off-season.
