Runoff Elections Being Held In Miami, Miami Beach And Hialeah Today

Voters heading to the polls in Miami, Miami Beach and Hialeah in multiple runoff elections where no candidate got more than 50-percent of the vote which is required to win outright. In Miami, voters are picking the District 1 commissioner. In Miami Beach, 3 commission seats will be decided and in Hialeah two city council seats will be declared. Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections spokesman Robert Rodriguez says polls are open from 7 this morning until 7 tonight and no long lines are expected. Voters don't need to bring their voter information card, but they do need a valid ID with a name, photograph and signature.
