Venezuelan activists speaking out on the immigration crisis concerning hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans who have fled the country seeking political asylum. Helena Poleo says because they have no Temporary Protected Status, they're being deported back to Venezuela by way of 3rd party countries -like Mexico and Colombia-where they're sent first. She's calling on Congress to give Venezuelans T-P-S now. President Trump has issued sanctions intended to force Nicolas Maduro to step down and hand over power to Juan Guaido, the opposition leader whom the United States recognizes as interim president. Venezuela remains in crisis, people have no food, money or health care.
