Florida Jobless Rate Down In July

Florida's unemployment rate is down.

Governor Ron Desantis announced that the state added about 23-thousand jobs last month, pushing the unemployment rate down to three-point-three-percent.

The jobless rate is down one-tenth of a percent from June and two-tenths of a percent from one-year ago.

The Orlando area led the state in job growth over the last year, followed by Miami and Tampa Bay.

Panama City was the only metro area to lose jobs.
