Subway Restaurant Robbery Caught On Camera

There was still daylight out the evening two men wearing beanies walked into the Subway in Pembroke Park, took out their firearms and robbed the restaurant. The whole thing was captured on video surveillance, and detectives are hoping releasing it will help generate the tip needed to capture the suspects.

Just before 8 p.m. on June 15, cameras were rolling as the two men walked purposefully toward the sandwich shop at 3930 Pembroke Road in Pembroke Park. Shortly after entering, the shorter of two suspects, wearing a red beanie, black shirt and red shorts, walks up to the counter with a gun in hand. His accomplice, who’s wearing a black beanie, black shirt and long khaki pants, jumps over the counter and begins to empty the money out of the register. He then walks toward the back room and takes an additional container of cash from a Subway employee.

The pair is then seen fleeing from the restaurant on foot, but detectives believe they jumped into an older-model, four-door, burgundy Nissan Altima to make their ultimate getaway.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to contact BSO Robbery Detective Luis Silberberg at 954-321-4876 or Broward Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 954-493-TIPS (8477). A reward of up to $3,000 is available for information leading to an arrest.
