Florida Shooting Panel Boss... Learn from Parkland... Train and Be Fast

HAVANA, FL -- The head of the commission investigating last year's mass shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School, used a timeline to tell an audience of law enforcement officers and teachers about the importance of training for an "inevitable" mass shooting.

Bob Gualtieri pointed out numerous training and communications breakdowns. Gualtieri says his goal is to "give everybody as much information as possible" to have "a different outcome" from the one in Parkland, in which 17 students and staff lost their lives.

Gualtieri says low-cost solutions such as better training for school staff, safe corners in classrooms and properly staffing entrances could help save lives.
