Beto Visits Tampa, Wants Non-Military Families to Pay War Tax

TAMPA -- 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Beto O' Rourke wants to help veterans by charging those who didn't serve a little more in taxes.

At a roundtable in Tampa, O' Rourke called for using a "war tax" to create a veterans' healthcare fund, to be charged to non-military members.

O' Rourke also calls for modernizing the VA, and pardoning veterans discharged and denied benefits for conduct blamed on PTSD or other service-related injuries.

O' Rourke will appear with other Democrats at the presidential debates later this week in Miami.
